Ohio Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Updates

Ohio providers are beginning to see payments from the Ohio Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF).  Please contact us if you would like to know how much to expect from the CRF.

Some payments have been made via paper checks despite having Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) setup.   According to the Office of Budget and Management (OBM), there have been some problems processing applications and most of these problems derive from the data OBM received from the Department of Medicaid (ODM). OBM and ODM are working to match the information including provider names, addresses and identifying numbers.  In some cases, the application is rejected (i.e. mismatch of identifying numbers) and the provider must re-apply with corrected information.

Assisted Living providers with MyCare need to apply twice to receive both the “Assisted Living” and “MyCare” payments. In most cases, the application was originally submitted utilizing the Medicaid provider number and will result in receiving only the payment marked “MyCare.” In order, to receive payment listed as “Assisted Living,” they must apply again using their license number.

Contact CRFprovider@obm.ohio.gov if you have applied and not yet received your payment and/or email communications about your application. If you have not yet applied, please see our article on how to apply for CRF funding.  The deadline to apply is October 15, 2020.
