About John
John is the director of business development at HW&Co and serves on the firm’s board of directors and management committee. John has extensive experience as an auditor, consultant, and business advisor for nonprofits and privately-held companies, including government-funded organizations and family-owned businesses.
John uses his expertise to advise manufacturers, distributors, retailers, HUD-insured properties, CCRCs, hospitals, health systems, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. He also consults on Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement for long-term care facilities. John has substantial experience with operational and internal control reviews, due diligence services relative to mergers and acquisitions, HCAP data review engagements, fraud risk assessments, industry benchmarking, financial assessments, and other business advisory services.
John is the former Board Chair for Centers for Dialysis Care and Centers for Dialysis Care Foundation and is still on the Board of Directors as well as the Finance Committee Chair and Executive Committee Member for both Organizations. He is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
