HW&Co., announces the appointment of Brandon R. Miller, CPA, CGMA as President and CEO. Miller will succeed John P. Fleischer, CPA, who has served in that role since 2014.
“It has been an honor to serve as HW&Co.’s President and CEO for the past five years,” said John Fleischer. “As I return my focus to the clients I serve, I know our extraordinary group of professionals and staff are in the most capable hands around, and the firm will flourish under Brandon’s leadership.”
Miller will officially replace Fleischer effective January 1, 2020. Fleischer will stay on as a Principal in the firm’s Healthcare practice.
“I’m honored to take on this new role at the accounting firm where I started as an intern 24 years ago,” said Miller. “We are a firm, well-positioned for continued growth, with outstanding professionals and industry expertise, providing significant value to our clientele,” he added.
Miller started at HW&Co. as an intern in 1996 while a student at John Carroll University. Prior to being appointed CEO, he has served in various leadership positions at the firm including Board Chair of HW&Co and a Board Member of HWFinancial Advisors. Miller has also served on various boards and committees in the community including United Way, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accounts (OSCPA) and Beech Brook.
