HW&Co. CEO Brandon Miller, CPA, CGMA has been named a Notable Leader in Accounting by Crain’s Cleveland Business. From the article today in Crain’s:
First as an intern and now as CEO, Brandon Miller’s impact on HW&Co.’s growth and the clients it serves is clear. According to the nomination, Miller joined the firm as a tax intern in 1996 and 23 years later was named CEO.
“Brandon is a leader who believes in a team mentality and empowering employees to show them there are no limits to what they can achieve,” the nomination said.
HW&Co.’s growth has been impressive. According to the nomination, the accounting firm’s revenues have grown 37% over the last three years since Miller took over as CEO.
HW&Co. is a CPA and advisory firm with 120 employees in five offices across Ohio, according to the candidate response form. The company serves clients in a variety of industries, including health care, manufacturing, nonprofits and others.
“Brandon’s inspirational journey from intern to CEO has provided him the knowledge and vision to effectively lead us through our strategic plan,” HW&Co. principal John Krizansky said in the nomination. “He empowers people to work at their highest and best use, which provides opportunities and advancement at all levels and leads to success and continued growth.”
