Effective January 2020, Brandon was elected President & CEO of HW&Co. He has over 25 years of experience at HW&Co., beginning with a tax internship while he was a student at John Carroll University in 1996. Today, he leads the 208th largest accounting firm in the U.S. and serves a diverse client base, which includes domestic and international privately-held and family-owned for-profit and nonprofit businesses and individuals. In 2021, 2022, and 2023 Brandon was named to Cleveland Magazine‘s Cleveland 500, an honor naming 500 of the most powerful and influential people in Cleveland. In addition, he’s been named to the Ohio 500, a listing by Ohio Business Magazine of the 500 most influential people in Ohio, in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
With his diverse skill set, Brandon provides numerous services to clients within the United States and throughout the world. These services include tax, audit, accounting, and business consulting. His consulting services include expert witness testimony, merger and acquisition due diligence, business plan review and evaluation, and assisting clients with obtaining financing. Through PrimeGlobal, Brandon is able to use international resources and a wide range of tools to assist his international clients with accounting, tax, and consulting services outside of the U.S.
Brandon currently holds a position on the North American Regional Council for PrimeGlobal, an international association of independent accounting firms. Prior to serving as President & CEO of HW&Co., he was on the firm’s Executive Management Committee and served as Chairman of the Board and a Principal with the Firm and as a board member for a wealth advisory firm.
Brandon has also held various positions throughout the community including a member of United Way of Greater Cleveland’s Investment Committee; board member including positions such as Board Chair, Services Review Committee Chair, and Finance Chair of Beech Brook, an organization providing for the well-being of the community’s foster children. He has served as a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) Financial Institutions Committee. Brandon has also been a speaker for numerous associations on topics including mergers and acquisitions and implementation of Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidance.
