The Ohio Department of Aging has posted the results of the 2015 Long-Term Care Resident Satisfaction Survey.  The resident satisfaction survey is completed every two years, alternating with the family satisfaction survey. The statewide average score for nursing facility resident satisfaction was 87.03% down slightly from 87.92% in 2013.  The average for residential care facilities, also known as assisted living facilities, was 91.72% down from 92.3% in 2013.  The results for all facilities can be found in the following links:  nursing facility or residential care facility.   As a reminder, effective 7/1/16, results of the satisfaction surveys are no longer used  for nursing facility quality points.
